Always Under Construction

I have been looking around Fredericksburg for lye. No luck as of
yet. Purpose being, I need to make scrubby soap. I don't want to pay
$5.00 a bar from Pier One. Wanting to have this soap before the
weekend, I decided to try an Ivory rebatch.

I took 3 bars of Ivory and grated it into a Crock Pot and let it
"melt" overnight. I then added green tea. Too much green tea. Then
on first stir, I realize I should have stirred a half hour earlier.
Too late, still go forward. Cram in a pan and wait. In the meantime,
I will look for lye and start my beer soap.

This is my first/last attempt at Ivory rebatching.
